The Square Box

This is the first time this year that I woke up feeling so tired. Usually I will jump out of bed and prepare for work enthusiastically. haha. I have a feeling I will be tired throughout the whole week…

Last weekend had to be the most sinful one that I ever had. Firstly, I didn’t manage to go for the exercise day for Friday. Then, after eating Carbonara on Friday, I suffered from indigestion and discomfort all the way in class man. Can’t even drink a cup of coffee during tea break.. Then Sat ate steamboat at a gathering, so damn full too!! I was thinking, I must go run on Sunday! But but but… Sunday went for a ktv session so didn’t manage to run, suppose to go home for dinner, but ate oyster omelette before that! Omg. Then I ate my dinner at 9plus, when my digestive system is at its worst moment. So fat die me..

This two days also don’t know busy with what, before I knew it, my day is over.. and it’s Tuesday already!!! I was so stonedz in class last night that I don’t even understand most of what my lecturer is teaching.. E was stonedz too, we both can’t wait for the class to be over, but at least he knows what’s happening.. well.. I don’t.. so.. it’s time to hit the books!~ Please communicate with me~ my dear textbooks~~

So sad. My Maths assignment is so simple yet I can make stupid mistakes. Only got 5 questions some more. One question is 20marks, I only got 80 out of 1oo. My answer is correct, but I forgot to put the negative sign! Grrrrr… So angry at myself.

My colleague is going on reservist, very last minute, so poor thing. He has to sail to nowhere then sail back again, for two weeks. Deferment has been rejected. Poor thing! He then sent us all an email:

Mostly will be boarding a maiden voyage to South China Sea then come back.

On board I will be very busy playing PSP and talking crap with my friends.

I also shoulder the responsibility to sleep more than 12 hrs a day.

More siong is when I have to eat more than 5 meals a day!

Look what the government is doing to us!!!

I guess you can imagine the toughness and hardship that I will be going thru the 2 weeks.

Feeling a bit tired today. My working hours has been changed to 8am to 5.15pm, so that it won’t be so rushed to go school on Monday. So everyday have to wake up at 6.30am. Siong.

I was on my way to school on Sat morning along Lornie road and I saw two guys with a big camera at the overhead bridge. First reaction was to slow down, was running at 85km I think. After that, the more I think about it, the more I feel that they were just shooting video cutaways. TP camera got so big one meh?? It’s even bigger than my Sony Z1 man. Need two people at the overhead bridge to catch speeding cars meh?? From what I know, they normally hide their camera amongst the flowers and won’t be standing ley. If really TP then suay la. Should have at least smiled at the cam, maybe they see me chio they won’t book me, muahahahahaa… *dreaming

Class ended at 4pm. 9am to 4pm. It’s amazing I didn’t sleep in class. Suppose to go home study but ended up went to ktv. Finding ktv in the east is so damn difficult man!!? Went to Katong–> Marine Parade —> Downtown east. East people either don’t sing or they have their own systems at home. Cos even downtown east kbox is quite empty.. The people there are damn friendly too. We were at the counter and they were explaining the charges to us.. ok… my friend was desparate to sing so we ok ok and ok…

They are so nice that they didn’t chased us away after the destinated time that we were suppose to leave… they didn’t even bill us! cos normally kbox send the bill at least an hour before.. (scared we run away or what..) but this one doesn’t.. we probably can sing until 3am for all they care..

Today is a downer man. sma duty starts this month then I gena once a week, so on the average, I only get to go home early twice a week… Sian sian sian… actually we got the schedule last week already, but today they increased the number of sessions from 17 to 35 sessions! So have to do more duty… Sma is always a downer man… Grrrr…

So in the mood to work today… better go finish my work before the mood goes away..

It had been an enjoyable weekend.. the best ever!! Happy Happy… Although it’s pretty tiring rushing from locations to locations, not having proper meals, have to eat on the run.. but it’s all worth it!! I did filming for the birthday party, which I’m rushing the edit now, nice to see the it again on tape.. hehe.. The funniest of all was probably the sheng siong show. Because the guy who did the 暖场 for audience is pretty idiotic. Every variety show, especially live shows, they need to warm up the audience before starting, so that the audience don’t look so dead during the recording. They need a decent amount of reaction shots from us.. And he keep disturbing us.. asking us if we think he is handsome or not.. blah blah blah.. anyway, he’s the security guard from the sheng siong show lor, really 佩服his thickskin-ness…

Today:
Wanted to blog on the last day of new year, but just can’t bring myself to type anything, although everything was in my head, so the new year pass just like that.. me buried in books… I thought I was really burying myself, when E called me on the 2nd day of cny, chatted a bit then he say he studied the day before from 5pm to 1am.. O.O .. wow. That is then call burying yourself in books. I was playing MJ while he was studying. I’m dead meat. Even expert like him need to study until so much. Die liao.

Started work today on the 3rd day of cny. Traffic was damn smooth, feels like I’m going to work on a Sunday, no jam! It wasn’t as bad as I thought. Spent the morning blasting my mp3 player away while packing for the setup in the afternoon. It was a fun day, E was cracking jokes away as usual, and I can never remember any of them at the end of the day. All I remembered was laughing away but I forgot what I laughed about. Little silly things one after another. Everyday is like that, want to blog about funny stuffs that happened but they are always in bits and pieces so ended up never write anything.

Anyway, I’m so behind time in my studies, and my work. This sat is another full day class. Siong! I don’t have time for anything! Arrrgghhh!!

I can blow my hair and put face moisturizer at the same time!!!! Can you can you??? I bet you can’t!! hahaha..

So very the godamn tired today… hands and shoulders aching.. it’s my haversack that killed me.. with the super heavy battery and light in the bag, have to carry it around cos there’s no place safe where I can leave my bag at.. So why am I still blogging when I’m so godamn tired already? Oh well, I guess the chingay rehearsal today really amazed me. Maybe because I never really sat down and watch Chingay parade before, the floats are all so nice lor!! Especially the finale float, omg, it’s so amazing!! The rest of them are quite cute also, have to applaude the choreographers’ creativity on some of the performers’ costumes.. I did took some pictures, but am too lazy to post them up la, I’m very tired, remember?

In the middle of typing through this post, I went to read through my old blog again. Looking for the post when I did camera for the Zpop event. Those days I was so fit! I was the roving stage cam for Zpop. (That time FIR was a new band) I was on stage for a straight 4 hours and I don’t feel tired at all!! I only had to get down because my camera ran out of battery when Energy was performing and I had no more spare bat for the camera, regretably, I have to stop filming, yes, Regretably. I was enjoying myself man. If it’s NOW, I would gladly roll off the stage and die of exhaustment man. No, I think I will flip and call it quits after 1 hour. (Maybe will 翻白眼 and 吐白沫 as well…) I wanted to post the link of that post here.. but then again.. better not.. that blog contains all my secrets.. hahaha..

I have decided on my diet regime which will commerce next week. Whether it goes smoothly depends on how cooperative my mom is.. cos she always cook damn lots of things that I have to stuff myself like a dustbin every time they can’t finish.

Today is the day…. I have to wake up early again. Because school starts today so traffic will be heavy, and I will take at least an extra 15minutes to reach my workplace. It’s always dampening to go work after the June and Dec holidays, traffic will be heavy.. canteens overflowing with people.. carpark does not have good lots… and etc etc.

So, 5mins before I left home today, at about 7.25am, E sms us and say he reach office already… !!!??? What? Need to be so 夸张 not??? zzzzzzz… People old already is like that one… will wake up especially early naturally… =X
M came late and have to park until rooftop, so very the obvious, cos from our office can see the carpark top most level, and his ah beng car stand out very prominently…

Although it’s a Monday, it’s a jovial day cos E told us recently he went swimming and what happened.. laughed until me n M got tears in our eyes siah.. long time never laugh until like that already, can’t share it here though =p

Anyway, finally got some nice korea show to watch already, after watching so many below average ones, night after night and new heart.. new heart is not part of my work.. but it’s really quite nice! Although I don’t really like the female lead… think she looks like a goldfish =X On top of these still have 2 hk dramas to watch.. hope to finish it before I start my semester!! Gotta go chiong now……..

又要开始忙了… 可能最近太闲了所以无聊的事常发生. 真的.不要再来了. 拜托! 真觉得能和工作伙伴一起打屁是件幸福的事啊! 至少是打从心里的开心吧! 最近最开心的事就只有这个了…也没有很不开心啦,只是今天让我觉悟了一些事情…

说些开心的事吧! 最近都会在radio或电视听到宫崎骏新戏的melody. 应该是叫悬崖上的金鱼姬.Ponyo on the Cliff.

每次听到这melody就想起那个小女孩站在电视机前跟着这首歌的旋律一起唱的画面,而那小女孩就是我最好的朋友.. 和我同年龄,但在那刹那间,她却变成了15年前的她. 真的傻眼!? 好想念以前哦… 所以每次听到这旋律就会特别开心!

In a damn good mood today!!! My idol is coming to SG to hold a small concert!!! Soooooo happy!!!!! Hohohoho~~ Then I found a nice song too!! Going to sing it in KTV tml~ if I can find it..

Sigh.. I guess kids are all a noisy bunch.. play one psp also can make so much noise, 真是服了他~ Then everytime he won a battle he will let me see the results… zzzz.. Once he use 2 battleships to take on a whole fleet, then he won, and I said, “哇!你有种!!” Then he ask me “What does that mean??” …………………………………. Kids nowadays.. china got so bad until like that???? 有种 also don’t understand?? *shake head…

This flu of mine.. I stay at home for how many days it follow me for how many days. It’s also just like me, it’s a 宅 flu. Cos when I went out for dinner and a bit of shopping yesterday, it didn’t follow me. I guess it’s not hungry. Tml I’m going ktv and shop around for new year shoes.. Dare you to follow!@~ Bleahz~~~

Been so busy with this project shot on cine alta super HD, but I can see the end. It had better end soon, this project is giving me the stones and constipation… can’t even go toilet in peace.. it has been a tough 3 weeks… Finished the 1st draft cut today, a good 53mins and 11 secs documentary video, and there was a small screening with some of the big shots of the Uni, view until quite late, so went home late again today.. hate unplanned OTs.. hate going home late.. zzzz.

E n J stayed a bit late too, J missed her bus cos of the yog shoot, so I gave her a ride home. They are shooting at Marina Baraage tml!! I so wanted to go… wanted to see how nice the shots were, cos it’s really a nice place for shooting interviews.. but I can’t.. as usual, gonna be stuck in the cave again tml, with minor changes to make for the video. (There’s bound to be changes after every viewing, it’s a curse) So we helped E carry the equipment to his van, as requested by him. I think we are the most united section in the department. We eat breakfast together, eat lunch together, even go home together, and we are the noisiest bunch around in office cos E n W are always cracking jokes, the other colleagues mentioned that whenever there are major events and we are all activated, the office is usually very very quiet.

Because of the transcripts issue, E has declare war on N.. Sigh.. There are always the flaws despite the seeming perfection. I have to clean up the shit and I’m not complaining. I guess as people grow old they become more resigned to unexpected issues that pop up. Not E though. That principle of his is going to keep him in check for the next 10 years… I have the fleeting thought of doing the transcript for him. But I had enough of transcripts during my yellowstone days. I rather outsource and pay for it myself. Plus I have no time. I’m behind time on my shows logging.. die..

They seem pretty ok today, can sit at the same table and eat breakfast, not too bad… Wondered what happened yesterday, I’m always stuck in the cave, only come out for lunch, so I’m clueless. I think it’s the crane PT that help things.
They brought the whole crane back from NA just to practice setting it up! *clap clap. Always do fun things that I cannot participate in. Nvm. I’m coming out of the cave soon! Definitely going for exercise day this Friday~

So sad… my idol is having a concert in tw tomorrow, I wanted to fly over to see it one, but there’s no flights available anymore! I guess it’s the long weekend, thus everybody is flying there except me… heard that 2 of my colleagues are going tw this weekend for holiday.. envy them…

There’s this FSV 15th Anniversary party at St James today, then seems like E is very keen on going, so much so that he asked me N number of times today whether I want to go or not. Then he went to A and asked him. A says I go then he go. It’s pretty stupid that 3 of us drive 3 cars down, can’t even drink cos all of us are driving, and can’t car pool cos I live in the North, E lives in the East, and A lives in the West. It’s not really a big problem, But I guess the real reason is I just don’t feel like going. It’s a Thursday, feeling pretty tired, and moreover, I’m a 宅女, so I don’t feel like going anywhere except home after work. Guess it will get worse after I start my part-time course. =X I feel pretty 自闭, are these signs of aging? ><
